Healthcare Cost Reduction

Chronic diseases have significant health and economic costs. Preventing chronic diseases, or managing symptoms when prevention is not possible, can reduce these costs. 90% of the US Annual Healthcare Expenditures are for people with chronic & mental health conditions. Failure of care delivery, failure of care coordination, overtreatment & low value care account for $204.9 - $344.9 Billion wasted. Healthcare spending, whether by the government, private industry, or individuals, is most easily reduced by introducing AI-powered preventative care, rather than pricy interventions when things have gone wrong.

If properly integrated, this technology can lead to lower healthcare spending across the board. The basis of this approach is that the patient continuously generates precise medical data on their medical life flow. In exchange, the patient receives proactive care based on their current health status, monitored in real time with high resolution. By applying flow processing algorithms to the patient–healthcare system as a whole and to each flow node separately, professionals should be able to optimize cost and performance of patient-care delivery.
